    TMR is Florida's largest scrap metal recycler with over 20 recycling facilities located throughout the state. Our facilities include four automobile shredders, balers, shears, mobile shearing, torch processing, auto crushers, an extensive truck and railcar fleet, landfill services and railcar dismantling.

    2. Ability to lead teams and direct operations to maximize production and profitability.

    6. Proactively improve facility efficiency and effectiveness by driving improvement in operations and equipment reliability.
    7. Ability to read, interpret and understand financial statements and the ability to project the impact of decisions on the financial results of an operation.
    8. Clear and thorough written and verbal communication of issues and opportunities.
    9. Ability to represent the organization in local community and political matters.
    10. Ability to work across boundaries with other departments and corporate staff members.
    11. Keen awareness of scrap market dynamics and the ability to manage people, inventories and production operations through volatile changes in scrap pricing and volumes.
    12. Ability to extract, collate and communicate significant market data to Commercial group and General Manager.
    13. Consistently achieves results listed above while exhibiting workplace behaviors consistent with company values and core competency expectations.


    1. Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline, along with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a business environment required; OR 5 year’s operations, heavy industrial or manufacturing experience with demonstrated leadership ability and understanding of business management concepts required.
    2. Scrap processing industry experience a plus.
    3. Effective communication skills with people at all levels of employees within the organization.
    4. Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required.
    5. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual Spanish speaking, is preferred
    6. Experience interfacing with customers and providing excellent customer service.
